Post by Rings890 »

I can't remember how to change the colour of the Windows XP Start button, I just hate that green. Does anyone remember off hand?

my experience with tweaking buttons fonts themes has been > perfomnce drops and if you ever fdisk its a drag to backup

In the end chose to ride the bus its reliable and besides being retarded I fit right in

I was going to post a link to that thread, but the SG search results for "bullsh|t" were too numerous

sometimes you have to think outside the box to get inside the box ;).

Is it just the color of the button, or the style? Right click on desktop > properties > Themes and select "windows classic"...

Background colour Ken.
The 3 standard issue alternatives will give a hassle free colour change. Silver, blue or green.

Old addage.... if it ain't broked, don't fix it.

Hey Croc,
I do not like the look of XP so one of the first things that I do is change the start menu and theme back to classic... I agree with the ain't broke, don't fix...
