Vote For This Map Now!

Post by YARDofSTUF »

God damn map votes piss me off enough, but the **** that really ****ing ticks me off is when there are 16 ppl in the server and someone goes and puts a ****ing vote through when only the first 3 or 4 are there. What you can't wait 10 ****ing seconds to see if the rest of the group wants to play ur ****ty ass map? Get up off your fat ****ing ass and go grab a water/soda/beer/whatever. Then when you get back, everyone is there and put the ****ing vote through.

I ****ing hate the ****ing vote ****ing feature, and plus the earlier maps with the ****ing base raping and the gay I-Don't-know-what-Sex-I-Am name ****ing changes.

I agree 100%, there is ussually someone with admin, if a certain map is wanted it can be set as the next map no prob.
Sit and waite for map to load, then have to wait for another to load, ends my night pretty quick, as soon as that chit starts, I quit the game, the fun is gone

But, I do agree with you on the 3-4 people thing. As soon as you get in, it loads the next map, etc etc. Very annoying.

That's a lame idea. Then what about the 2-3 people that play really late at night or early in the morning? So they are supposed to sit there for 3 ****ing hours to play 73 Easting?

Well Meg won't be around this weekend to persuade people to vote over teamspeak so I doubt there will be any map votes for a while.

Ok....here is what I'm gonna do to resolve this problem.

Temporarily, when I'm on the server I will up the majority to 75%. This way pretty much everybody has to agree to the change.

I can do that in the server manager when I'm on...but when I disconnect, it defaults back to the normal 50%. I will shoot Cat a PM to ask him to make this a permanent change....75% needed to force a map change.

I personally hate servers with voting enabled of any kind, period.

If I should find myself on one where a vote has started I always select 'No', never even paying attention to what it's for.
Should the spam continue, I leave.

It would be easier to disable map voting and just make everybody that plays regularly a Jr. Admin of some kind.

I know, i'm bawlin my eyes out, but I bail whenever the map vote chit starts, ruins the game. If I was a real a$$ I'd just boot those who keep doing it.

Hmm, maybe thats the ticket.

Peeps in team speak state they wish so and so map would come up, I'll set it as next map.

Otherwise I spend half my game time loading maps,,,It sucks, If Meggie don;t like tank maps, she can sit out, she does anyway.

And Scott does not have to be Meggies saviour every time a tank map comes up

I've mentioned it in game after its happened and no one says anything, and I think I even mentioned it in a thread awhile ago. This isnt an out of the blue rant. Buuuuut, it surely is the only one thats gotten attention.
