Router and DSL Compatibility Mac and PC

Post by efc2002 »

Does anyone know if I am able to hook up both pc's and mac on the same router which connects to the dsl modem to access the web?
I have 3 PC's that connects to a netgear wireless router which then connects to the dsl modem. I would like to purchase a mac but not sure if it will be compatible to connect to my router to access the web. The mini mac i want to purchase also has an eithernet port for high speed access.

Please let me know..

Thanks,
Rico

the router should support mac i don't see why you would have trouble with the router as long you got apple talk on the pc's and the port map for apple talk you should be alright
