hi everybody,
does the color's or the display sttings on the monitor change when you download the patches?
If they do any suggestions?
I'v added the patches and seen the speeds change for the better but the resolution on the screen especially for the gif. files have deteriotated. Help?
Would adding the tweaks change the colours for the better, the colors now have become much duller

Hmm, haven't heard of that happening b4. Have u checked the Display Properties? What video card r u using? Do u have the latest drivers for ur video card? If worst comes to worst, u may have to use the default patch.

thanks glc1,
i downloaded the patch and also changed the resolution to 1200x800 at the same time.
after rebooting i seem to have some problem with the download pics.. the text is clear but the pics come out very grainy. i tried the display properties lots of times but still the same result.
ganesh
I have not heard of this before and I can think of no logical reason why pathces that address your TCP/IP connection would affect your screen resolution specifically for images. Something else must be going on...

I'm not sure on this one either. however I think it depends on what vid card u have, and the drivers. I've noticed this cuz at my school they have some macs and I see the same problem. but on my pc no prob. I would just try updating, or calling your cards manufacture for some help.
