The movie was brilliantly funny, but then again you probably laugh your ass off at Jim Carrey's dreck...

just watched it today.

i almost turned it off when i saw the MTv productions logo, but a couple friends recommended it.

it is a very skewed humor... or at least a very skewed way of delivering humor. i likened it to "Death to Smoochy" in that the first time i saw it, i didn;t laugh as much.... was too busy thinking "wtf?!?". after that i enjoyed it.

BTW, as a white guy i WISH i could dance like him. :p

24 should have been a movie, when the season comes out I just want to stay up for 24 hours and watch it.

i dont like 24 seems like the same plot on a weekly basis (jack gets caught or his family member gets caught, he almost blows up or dies or his family member almost blows up or dies and someone hes working with is really working against him.)

i watched the first season and it got too Repetitive in the second season that i couldnt watch it anymore

Yeah I lie.

There are some decent shows on TV still. Just nothing that I can really get into anymore.

I aim to disappoint. :D

Based on the previews alone, I got the impression that only a limited number of people would find this movie funny, so this thread's reaction to it isn't surprising.

very true. i found myself thinking the very same thing while watching it. well... that in addition to the recurring "WTF"'s.

it;s like bleu cheese or liver.... such a unique flavor that it;s not surprising why so many people don;t like it.

First off. Cameron cut down on your sig a bit. Secondly napoleon dynamite was a funny movie, just a different type of humour I guess.

Ok. I will pm the revised version for your approval. :nope:

But since you brought it up. Mods why can't I edit my sig, I have tried to change it since I don't even have the bottom computer, and I keep getting your sig is too long or something to that effect, I have even tried to erase completely.

And btw the movie was not funny, I laughed no more than 3 times. I expected more from MTV need another varsity blues or something. I found super troopers a lot funnier than this.

I thought it was funny. Whats even funnier is that my g/f has a friend back home on vancouver island that looks exactly like the main character :rotfl:

Lemony Snicket had its clever moments.
I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.

I didn't laugh once and found myself with a facial expression alot like the main character's throughout the movie. A complete waste of film, I would have been pissed If i payed to see that thing.

I just watched it last night and I found it funny. I will probably watch it one more time at least to pick-up on parts that I missed the first go-around.

And I laugh at Jim Carrey too. I'm just a diversified movie watcher.

never heard of this movie...

but as far as TV goes...best shows IMO are on HBO...Sopranos/Carnivale/Deadwood/OZ....

worst part about HBO take forever to come out with a new season...

I really liked Oz but the butt sex was a little to realistic.
