Overclocking CPU

Post by gum digger »

HI
I have P3 701 MHZ with asus motherboard. I want to overclock it. is it possible. I know this is possible by fiddling around with fsb in my bios setup, but there is no such thing as fsb in the setup not even in the user manual of the motherboard.
anyother way?

You seem to be answering your own question, but to find out for sure, which model Asus motherboard do you have?

It has jumpers to change the FSB, can be found on page 18 of the manual.

I would go in as small of steps as u can tho. You don't want to break the chip.
