Japanese Metal band - their biggest hit over here was the "Thunder In The East" album back in the mid eighties - after that they pretty much died out over here, but they kept putting stuff out in Asia ... well recently, I did some investigating and dug up a couple of their more recent CDs - "Biosphere" and "Terror" - both very good metal CDs - heavier than the 80s hair stuff.
but .... a buddy of mine just hooked me up with their new CD - "Racing" - THIS is some awesome stuff! I didn't even know it was out - kinda hard to keep tabs on these guys since I don't read Japanese. Anyway - the guitarist - Akira Takasaki - is absolutely incredible - always has been imho, but cuz has cranked it up a notch on this one ...
like I said, this stuff is kinda hard to find, but
WELL worth the effort!
