HL-2 Multiplayer

OK, anyone played it yet? How is it? Is it like Doom3 multiplayer?

I hear everyone talking about the singleplayer, and that's all well and good if you like singleplayer.

The multiplayer is just the new Counter Strike.

you can create a multiplayer halflife 2 game through console, but i dont' know if anyone can join it. they will probably have a mod out soon where you can play half life 2 multiplayer. need a custom map tho for it. I made a server couldnt do much, it didn't show your hp, ammo etc.
