ram question

ok i have a old laptop its a dell Latitude cpx J650gt model no : ppx and its a Latitude c family.

ok i kow it runs on pc 100, but i was woundering if pc 133 would run on this laptop . i know it would not run at the 133 speed and only at the 100 speed, but the 133 is like hafe the price . so i was woundering if the 133 would run. is thier any way to find out? i dont know what mb is in the laptop. any other info you need i can pull off the laptop to you to help me know if the 133 will run . let me know thanks

I'm ALMOST positive I put pc133 ram into a latitude before. It was a p3 500 and it ran without a hitch.

worst case, either return it or sell it on ebay if it doesnt work out.

I'm almost positive I have also. And I don't remember any problems.

133 *should work in a pinch, but you'll still only get pc100 speeds.
still folding away, haven't been on as much lately

ya i knew i would only get the 100 speed but the cost is like 1/3 the price for the 133 so if it would work i would get the 133 to save money
