God, I hope noone posted this already, as I have a habit of reposting stuff.
Anyways, got this from drudgereport.com
"DEBATE MYSTERY: WHAT DID KERRY SLIP OUT OF HIS POCKET?
Section 5, pages 4-5 of the binding "Memorandum of Understanding" that was negotiated and agreed upon by both political campaigns states:
"No props, notes, charts, diagrams, or other writings or other tangible things may be brought into the debate by either candidate.... Each candidate must submit to the staff of the Commission prior to the debate all such paper and any pens or pencils with which a candidate may wish to take notes during the debate, and the staff or commission will place such paper, pens and pencils on the podium..."
So what did Dem presidential contender John Kerry take out of his jacket as he approached the stage [with his back to the auditorium's audience]?
What did Kerry place on the podium?"

i'm going to become rich and famous after i invent a device that allows you to stab people in the face over the internet
Didn't really look like he was trying to hide anything to be honest. He didn't appear to try and hide it from the audience (pretty much facing whilst holding the object / placing it on the podium). He would also have known there were cameras around.
Seriously, to me it doesn't look like he's trying to hide anything.

Is it just me, or are the kerry conspiracy threads starting to get weirder?
Funny is when a fat lady walks around while someone plays the tuba. Once you've seen that, you'll never laugh at anything else. Except maybe a skeleton dancing around while someone plays the xylophone, which is almost exactly the opposite of a fat lady walking around while someone plays the tuba. Well, a skeleton is the opposite of a fat lady. But is a xylophone the opposite of a tuba? History will decide.

I mean, what are they trying to say it was in his pocket if it wasnt just a pen? An atomic bomb? The severed heard of ronald reagan's corpse?

No, seriously. What could it be, and what difference would it make?

Bush Blows Debate: Talks to Rove in Earpiece!
Was John Kerry trying to pull something at the debate last week?
That question was burning up the Internet yesterday after a slo-mo review of the footage showed the Massachusetts senator taking an object out of his right pocket before the first question.
Was it a cheat sheet — as some conservative bloggers claimed — or was it something innocuous?
Remember now, repeat the lie long enough and you get people to believe it..back to story..
But the mystery was solved when The Post reviewed a Fox News Channel feed from Thursday's debate: Kerry pulled out . . . a black pen.
Oh my........

Bush Blows Debate: Talks to Rove in Earpiece!
During the Presidential Debate Bush made what may be his most costly error- he exposed that he’s using an earpiece to help him answer debate questions.
In the middle of an answer bush said, "now let me finish" as if someone was interrupting him - yet nobody did - he was talking to the person in his earpiece.
