As soon as the terrorists made the announcement of the deal, he was as good as dead right at that moment. The US doesn't "bargain."Very sad news, but expected. :(

i just saw the family on the news this morning, they were praying for his release... :(

How can anyone back that kinda insanity? How does that group have any followers at all? My thoughts are that God is fair, he will be able to judge them...but we should arrange the meeting..

We need to start "shock and awe" again, hold back on the ground troops for a while and let our flyboys do their thing...

we will never stop al qaeda completely until we give them a taste of their own medicine. they are not afraid - we need to make them afraid. sorry if it offends anyone, but that's what i believe.

if you need any more fuel to pi$$ you off about this, i found a link to the "pics" those ba$tards posted of the beheading - don't know if it's ok to post the link here, but it's on the drudge report site

Easy words for a man with right wing leanings. If it were occurring in a Clinton presidency, he would probably singing a different tune.

That aside. I am happy to see that four al-Qaeda perps were killed.
I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.

Heck I don't mind bringing up O'lylie at all......anything he has to say is ABOUT partisanship, disguised.......

About nuking...Who would we nuke? It's an ideology not a country......The Muslim faith makes up just about a third of the world faith. I have no idea how many of them are angry enough to join Al Qeada and it's splinter cells but even one is too many........That's what needs addressed by the world....not just us..

My thoughts are, we need to keep our focus on Al Queda.....The Admin need to worry more about a civil war in Saudi Arabia, than all this axis of evil rhetoric, thrown at us to raise the fear level......when the real enemy is is spread out over the whole globe.
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

:???? Looks to me, it got off track way above this......

Agrees with Ghost...we can expect more of it...The shock value is a tool used against us and for them...It gives them a sense of empowerment and a feeling of anger for us. This thread shows that.

Have a good evening.

O'Reilly is using this occurance to tell adversaries of Bush to be quiet.... Who is being the opportunist?

I would not pick on mccoffee for his quoting O'Reilly, however since his name was introduced and you chose to concur with it, I felt O'Reilly was fair game.
I feel horrible for what happened to Mr. Johnson and Mr. Berg at the hands of these vile creatures...

A little touchy today huh roody?

I'm glad the SOBS got killed when they dropped off the body.

Something has got to be done to stop those SOBs but what? Nukeing aint gunna do **** but kill innocent people. We should not allow any more VISAS of any kind to any country affiliated with terrorism and all the people here in america that are on any kind of visa should get sent back home. That will piss off enough of the people that want to excape the madness over there and live in luxury to actualy and sinceraly "disaprrove" of any terrorism and possibly revolt against the ill logic teachings of terrorists. Send their ass HOME , get them out of our country.... they hate us unless we have freedom to offer them... **** them.

That's a good point with the clinton and your probably right, with the uniting part i think he had a point after 9-11 the country was more holesome and then slowy but surely we kinda drifted that's why i brought it up it made me think

ok, here's what i think (please excuse my un-"pc"-ness)

this is NOT about some talking head on CNN or MSNBC ... it IS NOT about politics (at least not in the sense of what NEEDS to be done) ...

the threat is al qaeda - a bunch of chicken-$hit extremist terrorist that don't have the ball$ to stand up and fight like MEN - they want to run around kidnapping folks ... killing innocents (women and children included) ... they are pu$$ies - period.

i repeat my previous post - things WILL NOT change until we make them afraid.

problem is, i don't think "bleeding heart politically correct America" is ready to do what needs to be done. And spare me the "that's what separates them from us" speech - al qaeda is using JUST THAT sentiment to do whatever they want to do!

ever wonder what the implications would be if we hunted down some of THEIR families and kidnapped 'em - posted their pix on the web and threatened to cut their heads off?

sorry folks but that will never happen - we are CIVILIZED - and they are "not" ... and I'm also sorry that none of this is going to end until we forget some of the civillity and "holier than thou" stuff and jump right down there and get dirty ... you mark my words - if we stay with our present course of action, this WILL NOT end well ...

I don't know about yall, but I am SICK of seeing regular folks on TV getting their heads cut off ...

btw - if you don't agree with me, that's fine - I don't care - this is what I believe and I AM NOT going to sugar coat it ... you want sugar - go watch Oprah.

That's right.... It is the bleeding hearts who are to blame.
You could point out the good old days before the 'net and aggressive news journalism when a country could hide a massacre or justify a good butchering. Dresden would never have happened in 2004.

Saudi Arabia is a very odd place.... A country owned by a family with an aggressive clergy (Wahhabist)

hey i'm fed up with the heads getting cut off two you have to options actully more unite to agree let's do what ever it takes to root out alqueda however it's spelled. I think the whole country is fed up but at the same those bleeding hearts have a point if we didn't goto war with iraq that guy porbably wouldn't be in there in the first place. You can't blame anyone state side for this you really can't both have the same objective a peaceful soluation for this cournty and countries abord... Peace could also mean war you can't have peace without war or vice versa...

i say agree to disagree and get thease alqueda b4 they do larger scale damage.

The best, the very best way to get rid of Al-Queda is to commit this country to creating a non-petroleum based fuel supply. Whether ethanol based or something else. Doesn't have to be fantasy fuel. We CAN do this. We put men on the moon and ended smallpox. We CAN do this.
