The Lakers have some fantastic players, however they will soon learn what the Nets and Pacers have been laught. That is the Pistons have many weapons. I am surprised how well Hamilton plays.
I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.

I think this game was a wake-up call to the Lakers.. Its not going to be easy for either team and this just makes it better for all us fans who might actually see a decent final series this year.

Detroit's defense is no joke. When is the last time the Lakers were held to 75 points in a playoff game? Hell, Detroit has been holding EVERYONE to 75 or so this year so we know its not a fluke..

I'm still pullin' for the Lakers b/c I've always hated the Pistons growing up (although I like Hamilton & Ben Wallace so it makes it hard to route against them despite the jersey they wear).

Can't wait to watch game 2!! Laker's are going to come out swinging..

This has been a great series so far. I still think Doc Rivers is the best analyst around for Basketball today. Man I wish Minnesota woulda got there though.
