Gotta begin my training by attending the Raven course.

Should be a blast...just don't know if my knee will be able to take it. I'm 34...almost 35 but I'm in excellent physical condition for my age. I just ran 1.5 miles in 9:56 the other day as part of my physical assesment in the Air Force.

Not too shabby for an Air Force firefighter. :D

Congrats!

Since you're a firefighter, are they going to issue you a super long hose to jump with? ;)
Simply run adaware, spybot, ZoneAlarm, HijackThis, AVG, update windows daily, have a router, don't open e-mail, turn off action scripting, don't use P2P networks, don't violate EULAs, and wear a condom to get Windows secured.

People say Linux is alot of work!

I'm currently in a special duty assignment at the Air Mobility Warfare Center on Ft. Dix in NJ. It's right across the street from McGuire AFB and Lakehurst Naval Air Station. I am an Eagle Flag instructor.

Hehe...FTAC...first term airman center....gotta love that.

What is your AFSC again?

Well.....Speaking from an Army guy.......how do you get Airborne and Air assault at the same time???? I am just wondering.....If you were talking about the mitliary schools it would be almost impossible to get both at the same time......or even one after eachother

Where are you going to school?

From what I'm being told....Airborne first...then Air Assault. We already have a bunch of security forces folks who have been to both and have also been to Ranger school.

Maybe we are getting some special treatment due to the flag level exercise I support. We basically work for the Chief of Staff of the Air Force....General Jumper.

Fort Meade, Maryland? If so I thought that base was closed down and was just Army? My mom and dad meet at FT. Meade back in 1962 when my pops was Armor Cav.

Sounds like fun (the training, not what you might be asked to do with the training ;) ). I'd join you if you could arrange for them to start the classes at 11 am, with a mojito at around 3:30. Think they would be willing to work with my schedule?

Congrats, and thanks for serving
