If we pulled out now there would be a bloodbath in that country. As much as I think the invasion was a mistake it's too late to pull out. And nuking them is not an option either.

The attacked convoy is normally used to transport the Diala provincial governor, Abdullah al-Joubori, but he was elsewhere at the time, said police Col. Ali Hossein.

On Tuesday, a suicide bombing outside the house of a police chief in Hillah, about 60 miles south of Baghdad, killed the attacker and wounded seven others.

A bomb exploded late Tuesday in a movie theater that had closed for the night. Two bystanders were wounded by flying glass, said its owner, Ghani Mohammed."

This is what happens when you send a force in there not designed to be a police force.

The US armed forces are not the world's police force. In fact they aren't a police force of any kind. It is my long held belief that if you are going to send the Army in fine. Let them blow the hell out of everything then get the guys out of there. Dicking around like we are doing now is only costing more lives. You can't go to war with the idea of only fire if fired apon.

1. What impact would this have on political and economic systems, both domestic and global?

2. From a Homeland Security standpoint would you anticipate greater or less safety and security as an American citizen?

3. Would such an action result in greater political, economic, social and religious freedom for the Iraqi people (assuming any survived), or would the opposite occur?

If you pull out now your just going to get a **** load more terrorist attacks - definitely not a good idea. The economy will go to shambles and nothing good will happen.

Nuking - thats not even cool man. Dont even pull the nuke bomb, you've droped 2 of them and people are still suffering from the effects.

I disagree.......I was in the military. Of course my everyday job was not to play police but I can speak for the Army we are trained to adapt to any situation that may arise. A soldier job is not only to fight it is to perform many job and peace keeping is one of the jobs.

People have to understand people/soldiers are going to die.......bad to say but it is true.....there is nothing nice about war unfortunally.

During war time, peace keeping or even during training you would be supprise the casulaties during peace time.

It is not from Soldiers not knowing how to perform during peace keeping missions.

To be a bit more precise, the Iraq war is over. At this time, the coalition is attempting to reconstruct the country and turn it over to people of Iraq. Unfortunately, there are those who would like to see it fail.

regardless of if the war is over, these casualties are nothing compared to wars that happened before. America has declared war on terrorism so it is technically still in a war. In war people die in thousands. (sometimes millions. In the battle of the Somme, the whole divison of PEI/Newfoundland ?(cant remember) was annihilated in except 5 members in the first day)

So you want to stoop to their level? How can you blame a country that all they have known is terror and anti-well for this case, anti americanism. These people were brought up in terror and were raised to hate americans. Does this mean that the whole country doesnt deserve to live?

There are many things that have happened that are a ****load more cruel than that in this world but they are not pertinent to this so called liberation of the people.

NUKE THE UNGREATFUL BASTARDS? Ok honestly, whenver there is a problem you guys just pull out the nuke button dont you? Dont you understand the repercussions of even thinking of doing that. Korea is ready to start the production of nukes and they can make them in records times. You nuke, you will definitely regret it.
