I didn't ask if it was a freaking option, I said it needs to happen!
Or atleast blow up this flipping "Fallujah"!

"In Ramadi, insurgents threw a grenade at a government building and Iraqi security forces returned fire Wednesday, witnesses said. It was not clear if there were casualties.
Also in Ramadi, a roadside bomb exploded near a U.S. convoy, witnesses said. U.S. officials in Baghdad could not confirm the attack.
One U.S. soldier was killed and another wounded in a roadside bombing Tuesday in the same area, according to Kimmitt.
In all, at least 597 U.S. troops have died in Iraq since the war began March 20, 2003. Of the total, 459 have died since May 1, when Bush flew onto an aircraft carrier off the California coast to declare the end of major combat.
In the deadliest previous incident this year, nine soldiers were killed when their Black Hawk medevac helicopter crashed near Fallujah, apparently after being shot down.
Northeast of Baghdad, in the city of Baqouba on Wednesday, a suicide bomber blew up explosives in his car when he was near a convoy of government vehicles, wounding 14 Iraqis and killing himself, officials said.
The attacked convoy is normally used to transport the Diala provincial governor, Abdullah al-Joubori, but he was elsewhere at the time, said police Col. Ali Hossein.
On Tuesday, a suicide bombing outside the house of a police chief in Hillah, about 60 miles south of Baghdad, killed the attacker and wounded seven others.
A bomb exploded late Tuesday in a movie theater that had closed for the night. Two bystanders were wounded by flying glass, said its owner, Ghani Mohammed."

This is what happens when you send a force in there not designed to be a police force.
The US armed forces are not the world's police force. In fact they aren't a police force of any kind. It is my long held belief that if you are going to send the Army in fine. Let them blow the hell out of everything then get the guys out of there. Dicking around like we are doing now is only costing more lives. You can't go to war with the idea of only fire if fired apon.

A few questions…..Originally posted by sludge
I agree.
Lets blow the f*** out of them.
1. What impact would this have on political and economic systems, both domestic and global?
2. From a Homeland Security standpoint would you anticipate greater or less safety and security as an American citizen?
3. Would such an action result in greater political, economic, social and religious freedom for the Iraqi people (assuming any survived), or would the opposite occur?

1. They would know not to mess with America.
2. Most likely the same.
3. Should I care?

some prime examples how emotions usurp all reason..
You americans did this to yourself, so your going to have to live with the repercussions of bush's desire to fill daddies dreams and to get some oil.
If you pull out now your just going to get a **** load more terrorist attacks - definitely not a good idea. The economy will go to shambles and nothing good will happen.
Nuking - thats not even cool man. Dont even pull the nuke bomb, you've droped 2 of them and people are still suffering from the effects.

I disagree.......I was in the military. Of course my everyday job was not to play police but I can speak for the Army we are trained to adapt to any situation that may arise. A soldier job is not only to fight it is to perform many job and peace keeping is one of the jobs.
People have to understand people/soldiers are going to die.......bad to say but it is true.....there is nothing nice about war unfortunally.
During war time, peace keeping or even during training you would be supprise the casulaties during peace time.
It is not from Soldiers not knowing how to perform during peace keeping missions.

You go into war, you have to expect things that happen in war. Like people dying.
Wow, people dead, so what? you're in a war ya know. People die on both sides.

To be a bit more precise, the Iraq war is over. At this time, the coalition is attempting to reconstruct the country and turn it over to people of Iraq. Unfortunately, there are those who would like to see it fail.
On a personal note, I am not in a war.

I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.

regardless of if the war is over, these casualties are nothing compared to wars that happened before. America has declared war on terrorism so it is technically still in a war. In war people die in thousands. (sometimes millions. In the battle of the Somme, the whole divison of PEI/Newfoundland ?(cant remember) was annihilated in except 5 members in the first day)

So you want to stoop to their level? How can you blame a country that all they have known is terror and anti-well for this case, anti americanism. These people were brought up in terror and were raised to hate americans. Does this mean that the whole country doesnt deserve to live?
There are many things that have happened that are a ****load more cruel than that in this world but they are not pertinent to this so called liberation of the people.
NUKE THE UNGREATFUL BASTARDS? Ok honestly, whenver there is a problem you guys just pull out the nuke button dont you? Dont you understand the repercussions of even thinking of doing that. Korea is ready to start the production of nukes and they can make them in records times. You nuke, you will definitely regret it. Sure they killed 10 innocent civilians or whatever, but your going to traumatize a friggin country that is overpopulated.
I could turn this into an anti american article but im not going to because I have a lot of american friends but THINK of the repercussions. All nukes should be destroyed, period. The moment you start playing with them is the moment you are asking for the destruction of the earth
"those who live by the sword will die by the sword"

Prey .. you aren't being rational. Less than ten americans died, yes they died cruelly and were horribly disgraced in death due to really childish actions. But why is this reason to nuke them? Your countrymen have done worse things to THOUSANDS of its OWN CITIZENS when the black people were still ensalved .. does American deserve to be nuked ? No! And don't pull that time crap on me.. Iraq is in a similar state of democratic develpment now as you guys were back then. Stop throwing out reasonless comments about nuking, it is that attitude that has garnered so much hate for your country already. I am not disrespecting you, dont take it that way, im simply stating that nuking is a very serious concept to even mention without significant reason..
Why didn't they pull this kinda stuff when Saddam was in power? Fear! They were scared sh*tless of that psychopath and never dared to rise up against him. Those crazy bastards aren't scared of American Military.....wonder how that could change? The US Gov should release a CGI'd video around Iraq of a make believe Iraqi city gettin nuked to smitherines....play that enough on Iraqi TV and those bastards will be peeing on themselves in no time and whimpering in the presence of the US Military! LOL

kid eh. That's funny.
If the most powerful country was about to "liberate" your country for oil, you would do the same would you not? Don't tell me you wouldn't want to do the worst you could to some country that is taking over?
In fact, Iraq poses absolutely no threat to you right now, but you wish to nuke them because young men are dying because of a business interest of some politicians in washington? As norm said, what is the real cost of oil?
