NCAA Tournament Stuff

Anybody else into college hoops?

So far I'm 3 for 3 with wins by Manhattan, Texas Tech (nail biter) and Maryland (even bigger nail biter). I picked Syracuse to beat BYU, but BYU is putting on a clinic at the moment. 8 3-point field goals by the Cougars so far. Sheesh.

My Elite 8 Picks: Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, Duke, Texas, Stanford and UConn.

Final Four: Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Texas and UConn

Championship Game: Kentucky v. UConn

Winner: Kentucky

I either do very well or very lousy when it comes to the NCAA Tournament. My wife has won her office pool 3 out of 5 years based on my picks. :D Let's see how this year turns out...

Ive got: Kentucky/Gonzaga/St Joes/Oklahoma St./Duke/UNC/UConn/Stanford in the 8

UK/OSU/Duke/UConn in the 4

UConn over UK in the championships


but i wouldnt be upset if UK wins...Tubby Smith is a great coach

Yeah, a UConn victory wouldn't upset me a bit. Actually, UConn is my intellectual pick to win it. Kentucky is my emotional pick. If that makes any sense. :rolleyes: :D

Wow, great game between Southern Illinois v. Alabama! Tide wins it by 1. :eek:

March Madness is great you can never tell when a team like Manhattan can beat a team like Florida and Maryland can only beat UTEP by 3

True, right now I'm pretty shocked that Wake Forest is having trouble with Virginia Commonwealth. Wake Forest leads by 3 with under 3 minutes left. :eek:

Whew, Wake Forest wins by 1. :eek:

Man-O-Man BYU is much better than I thought they were. :(

Got that one right :p Southern IL is still my only loss of the night (went with my heart on that one, which is a no no.) :(

I watched most of the UNC / Air Force game.

Seems if you wear dark blue and reach for the ball it's a foul, but if you wear light blue and reach for it, it's not......

On offense, if you're under the goal with the ball wearing light blue and elbow a defender, flattening him on the court, it's not a foul, but if your uniform's a darker shade of blue, it is.
hmmmmm...

I guess I gotta pay more attention to the rules....
