We had to put our dog down thursday night. On wednesday she got sick several times and we found out thursday that she has severe issues with her pancreas, kidneys and liver. The likelihood of her recovering was slim to none and she was only going to get worse and those odds were even less with my wife traveling to Florida this weekend to finally join me.
Needless to say the last day and a half has really been awful. Any thoughts and prayers especially regarding my wife who had to do this without me present would be appreciated.

I gave Miss Manners a Dirty Sanchez, and she LIKED it.

I'm so sorry.
One of my pups has cancer and his time will be soon. Glad to know my pup will have good company to play with (Chase) on the other side.

Hi Roody
Always Sad to lose a Friend Roody, but remember the Good times you've shared by being with Him over the years.
He's in a place with no fences now, where the sun always shines and He's free to roam.
Take care my Friend & give your Wife a Big Hug.

regards

That is a really hard thing to do. We had two of our dogs that had to be put down within two months of each other. The first was on Christmas night.
New keyboard, but still no "any" key.

Man, loosing a pet is almost as bad as loosing a loved one...Sorry to hear of you loss, Roody.
I can't imagaine what your wife must also be going through. Having to move is hard enough on all of us.....
Give her a big hug from the SG people, with our condolences, will you?

I will do that DH and I appreciate your comments as I appreciate everyone else's. I just spoke with my wife they are in Kentucky now and hope to be in Southern Georgia by tomorrow night. Needless to say Monday will be a happy reunion, but I imagine Monday night will be a bigtime crying session for the wife and I.
Thanks again everyone for the very kind remarks.
