I wonder if it would have been the same if the panthers hadn't gotten away with/committed the late hit on mcnaab causing an injury?

Oh well, Panthers won tonight, Pat's won tonight. Wonder when the last time a superbowl was played with two teams with first letter of their name the same?

Im thinking it wouldnt have mattered. The Panthers played like a team that deserved to win, and the Eagles didn't.

Looking at the replay, it'd be hard to say the Panther player that did the damage knew McNabb was going down by contact and/or could've done a whole lot to stop himself even if he had seen it. Too quick, too chaotic to make a snap decision where you might get your butt reamed if he gets up without being touched and makes a great run like he is definitely capable of.

Not the cleanest hit, but far from down right dirty either. JMHO. ;)
Back on the attack!
