.gif to .ico

Anyone know of a good software package (one time shot... trial software would be fine) that will convert a .gif to .ico?

A search of SpeedGuide gave me this:

You already have a program to convert GIF to ICO. It's called MSPaint!

The safest method is to save the GIF as a bitmap (BMP) and then open the BMP in ppaint and in the SaveAs dialog type: "filename.ico" and save the file.
