Running network through UPS

Post by Cypher »

I picked up a Belkin UPS that has a line conditioner for the network as well. My thoughts are that running the WAN line from the modem>UPS>router would slow things down. Would it be a good idea to use this?

I wouldn't worry about it - since the line can handle 100Mb and your connection is nowhere near that.

Worth a shot - especially if your area/bldg has power flux
anything is possible - nothing is free
