As far as optimizing your connection for gaming goes, read all of the "important" threads attached to the top of this forum and follow the instructions that pertain to u.
As far as optimizing your system for gaming goes, do the same. Things that you may want to keep in mind though (that you may want to change settings for or try out), in order to optimize your system for gaming include the following: virtual memory, bios, registry, defragmenters (whether it be a ram defragmenter, disk, or perhaps another type), the role of your computer (If you know what i'm referring 2, you may wanna change this to "server"), and more.
