Tonighte I took some more pictures from my appartment just after sunset. I love the gradient in the sky!!

shutter speed varying from 10" to 15" ISO 50

ISO refers to the Film speed rating by the International Standards Organization, there is also the ASA or American Standards Organization.

film speed refers to the light sensitivity....the higher the ISO number the Faster the Film Speed or the higher the sensitivity to light.

generally the lower the availble light there is the lower the ISO you would use, i think.

no snake just the opposite....for instance in dimly lit surroundings or if not wanting to use a flash you would want a higher ISO or film that is more sensitive to light. :)

if i recall correctly it was either f8 or f11, not sure.

Yes ISO/ASA refers to the 'speed' of the film, the faster it is, the more sensitive to light it is. However, the faster the film-stocks tend to be 'grainier'.
