how do I stop my modem from disconnecting...

Every 5-10 minutes my ADSL modem disconnects and I have to reconnect. Its really troublesome when playing online games because my modem stop receiving. How can I fix this?

by the way I'm using bellsouth and I have no idea what my caps are.....

Call your ISP

Usually this is some type of line problem, other than calling your ISP to have them check it out you need to scan for spyware with SpyBot.

A Computer May Hang During a Heavy Load with an Ericsson HIS Modem wXP&2k

SYMPTOMS
If you connect to the Internet by using an Ericsson HIS modem,
your computer may stop responding (hang) during a heavy load.
When this occurs, you receive the following Stop code:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL
CAUSE
This problem occurs because a PPP frame that is not valid causes a buffer overrun.
