2300 down? Is it some kind of a premium service?

In most areas Comcast has changed the caps to 1800/256. Here in central Jersey they upgraded my service March 2nd. They quietly raised the download to stop everyone from complaining that they were not getting a full 1.5 down.

2300 is a huge increase for the same money though.

I will check my speed next month when the new service starts.

no its the normal $45 service its just that the tech new about the upgrade and showed me while the salesman new nothing about it he was still thinking they were 1500/128 but ive ran about 6 or 7 tests and still get the same 2.3 megabits on the tests thought it might drop but it hasn't yet so im still pretty happy other than ive noticed a couple times around 5 am pacific the modem losses connection for a sec then comes back on really quick like they drop the signal for a sec or something
