I just switched from an IBM HD (don't remember the model#) to a WD 1200JB now it is alot quieter ^_^. But now I can hear the fans. So now I need to quiet them down.
The only fans in the case are the fan for the CPU (a P4-2.26B) and the power supply (Enermax 300W 2-Fan).
I believe the power supply is the loudest so I plan to switch it to a "Vantec Stealth 520W ATX". Is this a good PS? or is something better (and quieter ^_^). Any recommendations?

Yeah, she's whisper quiet. It has a 3 speed fan control switch. You can control the fan's speeds.
I have the TTGI 520w psu with a 3 speed fan control switch. it's set on auto and i don't hear it. I'm also water cooled so the only fan i hear is the one on my water cooler and all i hear is the whooshing of the air.
You made a great purchase with that psu. Enjoy it
