Thanks for the help w/ the trunk . . . now I need help w/ an Air Filter

Post by fubarman »

I'm looking for an air filter that's really a workhorse . . . something that can be left on in a dorm room (20 hours + constant use) that really cleans the air of smoke, smell of spilt beer, and other odors . . . needs to be silent, easy to clean, and very effective . . . and not too costly. And also, the smaller the better but I am willing to sacrafice space for performance. Any suggestions are welcome . . . thanks again for all of your help.

Well I've got this beast. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/produc ... 1611778906

Got it from Grainger, but I only paid $310 for it, gotta love business prices. Works like a champ, but I don't think that's really what you are looking for. It'll clean the air in the entire dorm not just your room :D And it's reasonably quiet. No louder than the average PC.
Respect it.
