Ok let me think....
are you just talking about some nornal speakers with no amplifier.
if soo, then they will not work
Yo will need a dolby digital or a 5.1 amp to power the speakers. to get a good one u are looking @ around £200 or above depending on the make and model.
If i was you i would just but the creative or equivelent, 5.1 spekaers as u get a bass box, and 5 speakers which produce exelent sound and they look the part as well, and do not hammer ur pocket .
if you are in the uk a good website to look at for 5.1 speaker and amp packages can be found here http://www.richersounds.co.uk
they are good and there is prolly one near u or u can order on-line
hope this heps answer ur Question

dj_tigger1982 pointed out that you need a 5.1 reciever. Although this would be the easiest and cheapest way to go if your using home grade speakers, here is another way to do it.
Since your soundcard can decode 5.1 dvd's....you could also just use the speaker outputs to 3 amps or recievers. Maybe something cheap out of a hock shop.
It would probalby just be easier and sound better if you use Mehmet's suggestion and use computer speakers with built in amps.
