The Two Towers

Post by Humboldt »

...kicked ass!

It kicked soooo much ass!

Damn what a movie.

Finally saw it last night. Aside from the guy hacking away behind us, the trio having an on-going conversation, and the family with multiple bags of home-brought food...it was excellent.

I understand they had a lot of background information to fill in with the first one, but my this movie simply rocked.

All the Gollum cg was well done, the story was "relatively" close to the book.

A bit much Gimli-based humor for my taste. It worked well and wasn't *too* cheesy but was overdone.

I liked the part where he was too short to see over the rampart! :D

Excellent damn movie, very glad I saw this one in the theater. Can't wait for Return of the King!

With another Best Picture nomination...I expect it to pick up some steam over the weekend.

I have yet to see it.

A friend has the extended version DVD set and it has 6 hours worth of behind-the-scenes stuff.

Some of the sections are just about the weapons and armor, outstanding quality in most of it.

It's been out about 6 weeks, go see it NOW before it's too late.

It really is an outstanding movie that should be seen in the theater.

So good...epic battle scenes.

6 nominations in total one of which is Best Picture. It should do well at the Oscars. :)
