What is a Good Materal to Use as a Computer Case Filter- to keep the dust out of the Box - Without hurting the Air flow in The case -

Whatever you use, it will reduce airflow...depending on your setup, you might need to keep the constant airflow going. It could just be better to blow the case and fans out once a month with air duster.

I've an Antec case and you can remove the front. I just use a piece of filter foam. Monitor your temps cuz when it starts getting dirty, your temps increase...the payoff....a clean case..

I just go to home depot and buy an A/C filter, then cut it to the size I need. The price ranges from about 70 cents to a few bucks.

It comes folded up......and it's cheap. As RoundEye already pointed out. Get some double sided sticky foam tape to help hold it onto your case..

Used dryer sheets work great, and they eliminate static electricity at the same time :)


I go for the country fresh.....lol

Yeah, i get the half thicknes furnace filters, and they work great!
