Tweaking Probs. Help, please.

Post by whitefang »

I recently did your registry tweak with 98se. Seems to be causing more problems than it's solving. Many pics don't load. How do I change it back to default? Also are there any other tweaks I can do with regular DSL? Last thing, does anyone know of a good Registry fixer and/or Windows Optimizer? Any help with these would be greatly appreciated!!

I really appreciate the suggestions. I will try them. The tweaks I was referring to were maybe cablenut settings;MTU, etc. I have seen other people get some info before on things that might help speed on downloading or surfing. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Up to 768Kbps/128Kbps. Verizon DSL. By the way, setting IE6 back to defaults didn't help pics load. How do I change registry back to default setting? Thank you for your help.
