WooT, large RWIN
I knew SG put a larger RWIN in for a reason, (Cable users) and since we determined that system specs do matter, buffers are set by amonnt of RAM you have when installing Winders, nice to wake up to this, yes I broke down and bought 512 Megs more of DDR RAM (Not here yet) have to take out 256 DDR RAM to put in 512, but, what the hay:

Hello Lobo,
I find that that much ram is entirely overkill. 512mb ram is perfectly fine for most users. Your buffer wont be that big, in a sense that it will take up any noticable amount of ram. The most it would take up is 8mb. From what Ive seen, your speeds are nearly always the same, and you are probably at the 80% max of your rated throughput, so why waste money on more ram if it wont do any good?
Just my 2 cents.

If I'm not mistaken Lobo has 768 meg. He has 2 slots one with 512 and the other with 256.
