What was the last CD that you bought that had more than just a couple of good songs?

What was the last CD you got that was a 'complete' cd...meaning that everything on the cd was good to listen to, instead of just a couple of good songs and the rest being filler?

I think the last CD that I got was the No Doubt - Rock Steady album...that album didn't have a bad song on it at all...

Isn't that a greatest hits album? You're usually pretty safe getting a greatest hits compilation, since everything is established, liked, and well played :D

Yes, yes it is. :)

I would say then Alan Jackson - Who I am

I purchased the CD back in early '95 at request of my older brother Donald. I must say not being a huge country fan it was a really good CD. All the songs were top-notch IMO. :)

I think I've bought that album 3 times :D

Once on cassette, once on CD, then lost the cd, so I bought another copy of it :D

Great album :)

Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
At first I only liked a couple of the tunes, but the CD grew on me ... now I listen to it all the way through.

Speaking of which - let's go back a little ways for my second choice:
Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime
The ENTIRE CD is un-frickin'-believable - wore out my first one and had to buy another - easilly one of the best rock CDs of the last 20 years!

Don't get me wrong - Empire was great, but I think they peaked w/ O:Mindcrime :)

Hehe, yeah, I have a hard enough time trying to explain to my 11 and 10 year old daughters what a vinyl record is...

How about when they look at you funny when you call a CD an album...they have no idea what an album is...or for that matter, an album side...

Yep, you figure that the way things are going, it's just going to be a matter of time where everything is stored and transferred on a type of flash memory...

Put your entire cd collection, several of your favorite books, a couple of recipes, your latest series of photos that you took over at Grandma's house all on a flashcard the size of a credit card...
