problem setting up my router

hi everyone,
recently i brought a linksys befsr41w router and i have trouble setting it up. i can get into the setup page. in the setup page, i leave everything in default and in the login, i choose pppoe and type in my id and passwd. but after i press apply, the login become disable again. i try it many times but it just won't save my info.

i am running winxp and my dsl server is sbcglobal yahoo.

can someone please help me?

i typed admin in the id box but it didn't work. i couldn't get into the setup page. i only can get in by typeing admin in passwd box.

I too have a linksys router and had the same problem what i have to do is type in my info then go to internet options and clear out temps and cookies.then click apply to save the changes.It seems to work for me ...
