You have to set your firewall to allow those ports, I'm not sure what firewall your using so just look in the help menu for your firewall. :) ;)

You must be using edonkey. Thats the only one I believe that uses 4661-4663
Regardless of your firewall type, configure the firewall program to block all remote ports in and out TCP and UDP, except 4661-4663. And set local ports to any for that program. Most software firewalls do this automatically when you first connect to the net and allow access

Get a firewall. Post back which one you get, and someone if not I, can tell you how to configure. Keep in mind, most firewalls will set the programs default ports the first time you connect the app to the net. And if any other ports are accessed, you will get a connection permission warning or something similar to allow or not allow.

All the software firewalls basically do the same thing, but for what you want to do, Kerio is reall easy to only allow 3 ports and nothing else, without having to sit there and type every port type, number and port range out. ZA is good for that too.

Theres no need to configure local port access as far as Edonkey goes. Look up the definition of a local port and you will see why.
