I have been listening to Run Rabbit Run alot... quite a bit before the movie and soundtrack was out, and Lose Yourself too.... I think I understand all the words, who knows. I have read some lyrics that are so off it isn't even funny.

I'll give anything a chance if it sounds good. Doesn't matter if he's a rapper or not.

Even at 52 years old ... I find myself liking his songs. I think he is very talented.

*Reminds self to send Noevo them free "Fleet" samples*
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

I'll ditto that for sure! I'll agree, some of the beats are kewl, but then they kill it by constantly cursing.

I think eminem is the best rapper out there now a days... His songs aren't about the cars, and bling bling but true stuff. The way he spits and flows is simply nuts..

" RAP Music ".................biggest (and worst) oxymoron on the planet. If it's rap, it sure as hell ain't music. Cursing and Dis-ing your fellow man, while one guy scratches on a record and another pounds a drum for a background beat, AIN'T music. Music is notes on a scale. You know it, you've heard it before....A,G,F, B Flat, C sharp, treble clef, bass clef. Those are notes, and strung together in a sequence, they make music. Now, if you talking about making up rhymes, to a beat, the beatniks used to do that in the first coffee houses. They'd recite their poetry while their buddy played the bongo drum in the background.

Yeah, Stan is great because he dies at the end. OOOps, did I say that out loud?

Hi!!!

;)

listening to tool

I'd have to say that I'm not a huge rap fan, but the way Eminem does it, and a few select others, does take talent. I can't even sing along and keep up the the words coming out of his mouth. crazy. And I agree with jesse, too. He's not singing about all the money and cars he has.
