Hey guyz, what services,that i don't need, can i shut off to free up more resources? I tried shutting off some, but wound up screwing up and i had to restore.
Any help is greatly appreciated

I have XP and it's eaiser to tell you what I have running because I disable alot.
:-*COM+ Event System ( when I disabled this I could'nt install Nortons et.al),
*Cryptographic Services,
*DHCP Client,
*DNS Client,
*Event Log,
*Network Connections (When I disabled this network connections was empty),
*Plug and Play (When I disabled this I could'nt get into Windows at all. I would "loop-boot".)
*Protected Storage,
*Remote Procedure Call(RPC),
*Task Scheduler,
*Windows Audio,
*Windows Management Instrumentation.

I have it so I can cold boot in under 20 seconds
,and shut down in 10. Ihope this helps.
