I have a floppy disk that is a friends...and it has some bad clusters on the disk...but we need a file off the disk that just WONT load.
does anyone have some kind of program that I can use to get the file OFF THE DISK so I can print it out? Ive tried all I know.
BTW I need it soon...

Does that disk get recognized by the computer at all? Or do you get a insert disk and try again error? or does it only error when trying to get the files?
if it does, there are some things progs that may help.
run scandisk on it and see what happens, it may help.
let me know. I have something I can send you if the disk is recognized.

This is probably a really obvious suggestion, but have you tried to open it from within the program, rather than clicking on the file?

noevo yes I ran scandisk and a whole bunch of bad clusters. yes Ive also tried opening from within the program also
the disk is recogized its just one of the files is in the bad clusters....so I cant even get it open....word acts like its not a DOC file...

short bus version for you then
run the RecoverNT.exe file and point it to the drive in question, with the disk in
. Then RTFM manual to decipher the info it returns lol

use spinrite on it and it will recover most of the data.
