Going to see Elton John and Billy Joel this evening

Post by Deus ex Machina »

I had purchased these tickets as a gift for the wife. Alas, Billy had to vacation in rehab, so the show was postponed.... and tonight is the night.

Sounds like you purchased those tickets more for yourself than for your wife :D ....

Have a great evening!

Enjoy the show. I haven't seen Elton John live before, but I've been to a couple Billy Joel shows, and he always gives a great performance.

Two piano greats together? Lucky, lucky, lucky.... :)

Man both are killer song writers. Joel imho is simply amazing. Enjoy the show, David!

Wow!

They performed together for 6 songs, then each did a set alone, then 6 more songs together. Loved the show, both bands were so tight.

I had started the thread before the show. I saw no need to start a new thread afterward. It seems to be standard operating procedure :) .

I really was more interested in seeing Elton John, I must say that Billy Joel was the better showman.
