Photos of my classroom

Post by mountainman »

I took my new Sony PC120 to school yesterday and took some photos of my classroom. There are 3 of them on my class website: http://home.woh.rr.com/senorwren/ and here is the one of me:

Just thought I would share where I teach.

:)

edit: I used a Kenko .5 Wide-angle lens with the camera. That makes it look like that.

Your school system must have a huge budget with those nice chalk boards.
This is what they use in every classroom at my school:

Works great when they use programs such as powerpoint for notes and class.

I really don't speak Spanish that much outside of the classroom or when I need to. I have had to speak/write it a lot lately while making reservations for our Mexico trip. Where we are going is not very resort-like. So, they pretty much speak Spanish.

I like the room itself though. It is pretty nice size, and we have 3 computers. My notebook SHOULD be here on Monday (that's what UPS says). After that, I'll hook it up to the router in my room and enjoy the T1 connection. :)

Yeah...I am probably the youngest teacher there. I'm 22 and will be 23 in December. Some of the other teachers can't believe it. I think I just make them feel old. :p

There are 2 Dells in there that aren't TOO old and then there is one IBM that should be sitting in the Smithsonian - Technology Display. :D

Thanks for checking them all out, guys!

I'm pretty sure I'm not.

If I'm not mistaken, they chose good looking guys to be 007.

Haha! Self-confidence is different than being good-looking.

At least I hope so. ;)
