There is three tweaks that are confusing me maybe someone can shed some light on for me..

1)IrqXXPriority=

2)BufferMultiplier=

3)Class - 1
DnsPriority - 1
HostsPriority - 1
LocalPriority - 1
NetbtPriority - 1
-i have seen some different values from mnosteele52 wondering if they apply to me

1. The IrqXXPriority tweak is questionable but applies to all OS's, it won't hurt anything so try it and see.

2. The BufferMultiplier setting is for 2K & XP only.

3. The faster web page tweak is for all OS's.

where do I put BufferMultiplier and what is its setting?
where do I put IrqXXPriority and what is its setting and is it the same as having irq8priority that I have seen around but have no idea where to put it?
And for the dns cach tweak I have seen you put som differnet value in there for people 7s,6s,&8s?

Please explain

Now I dont know what to do here I have no MSTCP in my VxD key?? should I add it?

Most keys mentioned in tweaking of windows TCP are not in the registry in a default install.

They need to be added.

Ok Iwill add my own MSTCP key in services hope it works to my recolection isnt something as important as mstcp alway come with a fresh install?

The keys that get added when tweaking override the default settings provided through other keys.

Once you add the extra keys, you get control of these settings.

The key is there, you must be overlooking it, relook...... there is no need to add it. What OS are you on? :)
