lan party video

Post by thechemgeek »

this is my weak attempt at making a video. my website has like 8 GB transfer and the video is 28 MB. time to test that server out. heh. check it out here. let me know what you think.

I can honestly say that I enjoyed watching that. :)

Not sure if I'd have picked that particular song, but that's the beauty of being the videographer and editor - total creative control to produce what YOU want.

Nice job! :)

can't say that it was a great video or anything...just something to remember the parties. heh. the music choice was a hard one. the scenes i shot were too short and drawn out for a techno/metal/fast paced beat that i wanted...so i asked the wife and she suggested that. heard it once....and quit looking. oh well. thanks for checking it out and writing.

just so that you know...and yes...i have been asked before....but we ARE playing in a graveyard. it only gets creepy late at night when i have to go outside to load my car. heh. the guy that hosts the parties is a gravedigger/headstone engraver and lives right next to the building (garage) where we game. freaky.

Our servers are physically located in New Jersey, the Network Operations Center (NOC) of Network Access Corporation (NAC.Net). High quality and fast SCSI drive (IBM DDYS-T18350N)
High quality SCSI controllers (Adaptec 7899P)
Dual Network Interface Controllers (Intel 82557, Ethernet Pro 100)
Good performance servers; Bogomips > 3978
Backup drive (IDE)
Linux, RedHat, Kernel 2.4.17 SMP
Apache 1.3.22 (mod_ssl)
