Hi all!
I used the TCP Optimizer to optimize my cable modem connection (I'm now getting 2.8 meg/sec!). My only problem is that it also changed my settings for my dial-up connection.
How can I optimize my dial-up connection (to my company's server) without changing my cable modem settings?
Thanks,
-Tom

Some of the cable tweaks are different than dial-up. For example, your TcpWindowSize will be totally different for dial-up than it is for cable (much smaller than cable). You could save a Cablenut file for each connection and load it and restart when you want to change connections.
I do use "cable" settings for less important settings, but that's my crazy mind working there
