My jaw's been on the keyboard since switching over to Omega's drivers for nVidia. Hardly a performance hit, matter of fact saw some benchmarks of their 30.30 drivers which actually beat nVidia's own.
But the visual quality increase....WOW!!!

can u overclock with the omega drivers installed?
If your going to try these new drivers be careful and set a restore point first. With the new drivers I could not run 3dmark 2001 se. I had to restore to the old drivers.

The Omega drivers caused some bizarre things to happen on my system. First off, my services.exe(W2K) went wild on occasion. Don't ask me how or why, it just did. Unreal would puke half of the time, other times it was seamless, just perfect. Might give em another dance soon, the pctures were SOOOO much prettier.
Im more of an FramesPerSecond ho so I'll stick with the 40.41's

Acutally from what I have been reading from other sites, it looks like the majority of performance increase has only been with 3dmark2001. Very few noticaeble differences in games.
Supposedly if you compare the Gf4ti4600 with the Radeon 9700 it is only 1000 points behind the Radeon in 3dmark2001, and maybe Nvidia is just trying to hype up as much as they can, before they release the nv30, by pushing ATI to come up with better drivers, otherwise it might not sell as much as they hope if the nv30 is coming out real soon.
What do you think?
