EA if you can find the time to do this, you can make yourself a boot disk that automatically does the restore. Just put the CD in and reboot, say yes to "are you sure" and it will do the rest.

With the newer Ghost, you may have to enter the serial number first.

I have made this using the method at that link, and it's excellent for making your own bootable customized restore CD.
Directions are in good detail, and even a new user could do it following the instructions there.
I'm on it like blue bonnet man... thank you :D

Actually, I'm on my way to riches EA. I just got 2 new customers this week that can help me there. 5 new customers total this week.

Holiday INN, and the Hamilton PhilHarmonic both want a scheduled maintanence program on a by monthly bases. Both have quite a few computers, and they are all in need of some care.

In less than a year I've got over 150 new customers.
Not a single disatisfied one yet.

It may appear that I'm here all day, but believe me, I'm not.

One of the best things I ever did for my business was to bring along a freshly formatted HD when I get a call. If it's a tricky problem, full of viruses, or too many problems to deal with at once, I copy their drive first so I can alway start fresh if things go bad on me. It happened once, and boy was I glad I had the backup made.

Their whole drive FAT, bootsector MBR everything got hosed by a virus. I did a scandisk and something went very wrong.
In the end it worked out, but only because I had that backup.

XP? Oh well, could have been worse, he could be using a Mac.

W2k Pro would be my choice, XP second.

Norm, great news about your new clients! Also, thanks for the "freshly formatted HD" idea. :)

I have been a Norton Ghost fan for quite a while
I decided to try Drive Image 2002, and I like it allot better.
Allows you to use a Windows GUI. Allot easier to navigate
than Ghost, and it is very easy to accidently overwrite the wrong partiton/drive with Ghost with the cryptic DOS interface.
Keyboard not found - Press F1 to continue.....

Windows has not yet detected a keyboard. Press any key to continue.
