Personally I think if anyone should leave it mnosteele52, I mean his tweaks are a great tribute but they are something that could be posted on a web page and then be done with it, lobo on the otherhand everyday it would be something new to try which is probally a really big reasone why people keep coming back here over and over again, he's irreplacable, great help free help new help was the everyday garentee when you came to speedguide when lobo was here, sorry mnosteele52 I just think your attitude stinks thats all , your good help but NOT that great

To give you a basic synopsis on Lobo...... After I started posting here a while he started instant messaging me and emailing me and we got along great. He seemed like a nice guy and we had fun helping people together. Then all of a sudden one day he started flaming me for no reason at all, I emailed him about it and instant messaged him but he just ignored me. I told him I was going to quit posting in the forums because I was tired of the way he acted. I had numerous members PM me and email me to not stop posting because they enjoyed my posts and I always helped out where I could. So I decided to stop posting in the Tweaking Forum only. Then some other members got tired of Lobo's crap and pissed him off so he stopped posting for a while, that it when I decided to post again in the Tweaking Forum again and not let someone like Lobo or anyone else stop me from helping out where I wanted. Then Lobo started posting again and once again the arguing started, I then told him if he didn't stop then I would make him look like a fool in "his" forum. Philip then intervened and we agreed to help out together. He started instant messaging me again and emailing me like he was my buddy again..... I was kind of resentful since there was no reason for his actions in the first place. Then he started flaming and trying to joke me again.... who knows why??? Not me, i told him I was COMPLETELY fed up with it and the "gloves were off". That is when all the recent crap started and finally he got tired of it and stopped posting. He will be back as usual in a few weeks and I have absolutely no problem with that.... HE has the problem. What most of you don't see or don't seem to see is that he contradicts himself daily and will not listen to anyone, according to him the entire computer world is wrong except for him. We all learn something new everyday and we ALL make mistakes, but when we make mistakes we must correct them and learn from them. If you read the rest of the forums here, when someone has a problem there are multiple answers from many people on what to try.... in the Tweaking Forum if you suggest something Lobo doesn't agree with he tries and joke you..... that's not right. He thinks this is HIS forum, it's not, it's anyone who wants to post and help and share their knowledge. So don't come down on me for wanting to help others..... if you don't like my advice or suggestions then ignore them. But I will promise you one thing.... if I post something then it is true and does work, I DO NOT make up things that work because I say they do and if I am wrong about something I will be the first to admit I'm wrong and correct myself.

I just think it really easy to justify yourslef with a one sided oppinion, It's very easy for you to convince people with showing the nice view what looks to be the honest story, If a kid takes some cookies and gets caught he'll tell his parents that he only took one.

What was posted above are facts unfortunatley....The real fact of this matter is LOBO aint here because of the BS by that I am sure he means by stories like that, obviously there is a reaosn he's gone and in your story he sounds like some big baby and went and cried a river, Honestly I seen lobo for years posting here and it takes a lot to piss a guy like him off, posting day after day, disagreement after disagreement. And sure people do get fed up but it had to of been something really special for him to turn around and walk away so what about that fact

Well there are always 3 sides to every story..... my side, his side and the truth. Reguardless he has agrued with NUMEROUS people in the past over the same things he agrued with me over and he has stopped posting numerous times also. So don't blame me for all this crap..... he brought it on himself by starting to flame me for NO REASON.

Not to butt in, But no one is responsible for lobo bailing besides lobo. mnosteel is a asset to SG, and so was lobo when he was here.

I was the fastest member to reach Advanced Member status in the histroy of SG. My debut lasted an hour or 2 and then it was over for good.

Sorry Norm. I came to the game late. So late that I missed all the action.

My mediation skills might have proved valuable in finding an equitable solution. Lobo and mnosteele52 have a clash when it comes to methods of tweaking. One doesn’t have to be wrong for the other to be right. Lobo is your “grip it and rip it” sort of a guy (with good if not excellent results) and mnosteele52 is “by the book” (with good if not excellent results). Although one can point to facts and figures when establishing tweaks, others would like to throw caution to the wind and play with the numbers.

In the world of tweaking where two tweakers share space, it is uncommon for both to survive unless both are willing to acknowledge that there is more than one way to solve a problem. It is also okay for the other guy to help someone his way and for the other guy (perhaps in a different thread) to help the guy in another way and to let the one asking for help be the judge of what works for them.

My collage professors always said… “have an open mind to what you are being taught for no book of knowledge has survived the passing of time except the bible”. I think that’s what he said… I was asking the girl next to me for a date at the time. w00t!!!

When Edison was criticized for his many failures at making a light bulb, he replied that he had found thousands of ways on how not to make a light bulb. It wasn't the one success that created the light bulb, but the thousands of failures it took to discover what didn't work. Every success is achieved by learning from failure.

Life is too short to loose friends over numbers that go into the registry. Come back Lobo.

Trust me, I have been here for a long time too. Prolly since 2000 but the server changes hosts from time to time and we have all been reset at least once since I have been here. During this we lost everything my date of registration prolly is within a day of LOBO's .

On all of this I don't know the facts, I don't care to. I know there have been frictions of this kind before and in the end it works out. If Al is upset (i know he is) then he will make his own decision and act accordingly.
