Grabbing Flash Movies off the internet

Post by RicRogue »

Hey All,

I wasn't really sure where to put this one.

Is there anyway of grabbing a flash movie off the internet? Is there a program that will do it? I recently saw a site with some real cool movie affects, but if I can't grab it there is no way of seeing how they did it. Anyway, Is there?

Hmmmm,

Right click on the page (not on the Flash), choose "view source", copy the URL path of the movie into the "address" section on your explorere and hit enter. That should give you the option to save the file.

Good luck.

Two notes.

SWF will hang in your internet temp directory for a little while. Just drag them out.

Some SWF's are protected. I have not played with decompilers to know whether or not they will work with all instances.
blessed be................
