Okay, so I've read all over and I'm just not coming up with anything that suits my connection. My caps are 3500/384 on Comcast Pro, using Win2000 SP3, 551MHz PIII, 512MB RAM, 20GB HDD, etc.. Here are the results of the TCP Optimizer test (FYI, I'm using Lobo's CableNut settings):

Browser/OS = Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; .NET CLR 1.0.3705)

TCP options string = 020405b40103030201010402

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which equals MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 256960
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 2 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 64240
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 10278.4 kbps (1284.8 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 4111.36 kbps (513.92 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 50 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

So what can I do to speed this up, if anything?

And I'm back. About the only thing I hadn't done yet that was on that page was the system.ini tweak, which I decided to set at 8192. This seemed to help a little bit with loading pages, but I am not certain of this.

Anything else you guys can offer up?

What speeds are you getting anyway? Go here and run 4 - 5 speed tests. Clean out your browser cache before each test. Post the results.

Ok, I tried mnosteele's settings, and the results of some speed tests from chi.speakeasy.com are as follows:

2780/363
2938/353
2775/353
2689/361

Seems to be a bit more stable.

Going to try a few other things, and will check back later. Thanks for the help so far!

340KB/sec is 90% of your cap, I don't think you can ask for much more then that

340x8=2720 wich isnt even close to 90% of his cap

3150 is 90% of his cap

2720 and 3150 is alot of differance my friend 430 differance

he is at 78% of his caps

not trying to be rude just telling you he should be able to get another 400 or more then he is getting now with the right settings wich is alot its a additonal 50 KB/Sec
