Power Supply Help

The other day ..the power supply made sounds after couple of minutes I saw like electric shot from the power supplu's fan then the computer turned off it self right after the windows screen I took the power supply out of the computer and I got a new one today same specifications I install it when I power the computer on still not working...

sounds like you fried your comp :(

which brand psu was it?

you can try and identify which part is fried if you have spares you can swap in, one at a time

i meant that the old psu fried other parts of your comp

i was just asking about which psu you had so that i can know to avoid them! :p

The old one is L&C technology inc model LC-250ATX it's an older computer like 5 years ago .. but it's was slow but working ok until that happend

A shorted power supply will fry the ram and cpu quick.
