Our Courts
The Pledge of Allegiance is under attack now. You really have to wonder about where these judges and some of the politicians pledge their allegiance. Our founding fathers are probably turning in their graves while our enemies are laughing their rears off. The attack on the foundation of the United States is pathetic.

New keyboard, but still no "any" key.
Our founding fathers also had slaves and slaughtered hundreds of thousands of native americans to take this land too. doesn't make it right.

No it doesn't make it right, but the principle was founded then and has been amended since to correct some of the wrongs. Nothing is perfect, but this country is starting to head down a dark road. The courts proved their power (and possible misuse of) during the last presidential election. What about the separation of powers of the branches of government?

IMHO, having "In God We Trust" on American currency, and "One Nation Under God" in the pledge of allegiance is not only unconstitutional, it's blatant hypocrisy .
Unconstitutional because there are many citizens who don't believe in ANY God, that have the right to express that belief without having to pledge allegiance to something they consider non existant.
Blatant hypocrisy because there are many who claim a faith in a God, but deviate from that faith when it's convienient.
Like David said, It wasn't a founders pledge, it was added quite recently actually.
2 threads, same topic.......Post twice.
