Power Supply???

Post by Kastel86 »

I have a 300 watt power supply powering the setup on my sig. And it has 6 connectors for harddrives, cdroms, fans... I have 2 connected to cdroms 2 connected to hardrives and one to my volcano 7+ and 1 connected to one case fan which the case fan is connected to another case fan. Im getting 2 more fans and they both come with the adapters to plug the powerin one side and another device on the other. Im not sure if i should take of the plug from the harddrive and plug it in the fan and from the fan plug it to the hard drive? Then ill do the same with the other fan and other hard drive. Is this safe? Will it hurt the performance of the hardddrive since its not getting direct power?

Nope .That is just a pass through .Won't be a problem . It is like a two way splitter on the mains .Nothing to worry about
So softly , so perfect , seemingly sleepingly
But for you , sleep , forever will do
Wish only to fight the urge
Beaten senselessly for your basic need
Sunken eyes around me ,
sunken spirits is what I see
Children , old beyond their day
