Where the hell is it? Lol.
I see all the cable/DSL tweaks, registry patches, XP tweaks, more XP tweaks, no SG Optimizer.

If your browser can't read unicode, you should probably switch!

AVG didn't catch it, damn. I don't want to use norton for a few reasons, but if AVG can't tell a virus from a clean file, what good is it. Virus defs are updated too.
Thanks again Noevo.
use trend micro's online scanner:

I've had so much trouble with Norton's programs in the past, I don't want to risk it anymore. 2001 was a nightmare for many. I've been asked to remove it from many systems, and it doesn't like to leave. Caused errors in bootup by leaving traces in the registry/autoexec.bat, plus it was a real resourse hog. I also tried a few other Norton products in the past.
One real winner was the crash gaurd. I never crashed till I installed it, then it was crash every few minutes lol
I've heard that 2002 is good, haven't heard any bad publicity yet, but still have the fear.

I just *now* bought Anti-Virus 2002. Runnin like a champ too. It has add blocking, very nice controls for cookies, built-in firewall, that keeps ya informed(I like it better than ZA so far). The virus definition found that litmus virus too, whereas Innoculate it did not. I'll keep ya informed Norm, I think its a winner myself.Originally posted by Norm

Norm, I had forgotten about all that other junk Norton has. I don't care for much of his other stuff, but I don't think Norton's Antivirus Corporate Edition can be beat. I have about ten of my clients running it with probably about 400 PC's between them, I haven't had a problem yet that I can pinpoint to Nortons.

Speaking of Antivirus, does it hurt to have multiple AV programs going? For instance, if I set up both AVG and Norton on a computer, would there be any problems?

Dropped in to say that Grisoft have also been advised and asked if they will be protecting against this Trojan.
AVG has a TechSupport contact in the Program Help file.
If anyone has the time, it may be worth it to send them a similar request.
In tghe meantime, the info about the Trojan is at the link.
